Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant for our busy plastic surgery practice in Southbury, CT. You will support procedures, manage patient flow, and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of clinical experience, CPR certification, and strong communication and organizational skills. Associate degree preferred; medical assistant certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant clinical experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• National Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms and assist patients during visits.
• Collect and document patient history, vital signs, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the EMR.
• Assist with in-office procedures, catheter care, specimen collection, and patient education.
• Process lab and diagnostic results, ensuring timely review and filing.
• Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with front desk staff to optimize scheduling.
• Support administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
