Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Southbury, CT seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support a high-volume plastic surgery practice. You will help with patient flow, assist providers with procedures, and deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least 6 months of clinical experience, CPR, and preferred Associate’s Degree. National Certification is a plus; compensation includes day-one benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant clinical experience.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• National Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms and assist patients during visits.
• Collect and document patient history, vital signs, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the EMR.
• Assist with in-office procedures, catheter care, specimen collection, and patient education.
• Process lab and diagnostic results, ensuring timely review and filing.
• Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with front desk staff to optimize scheduling.
• Support administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
