Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for an outpatient Surgical Medical Office in Hartford. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, escorting patients, collecting medical histories, and documenting information in charts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months related work experience required.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance preferred; National Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms and assist in patient examinations.
• Escort patients to treatment rooms and document vital information.
• Process lab/diagnostic results and maintain accurate medical records.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist front desk with scheduling and calls.
