Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification (e.g., RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and recording measurements.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
• Coordinate pre-certifications, referrals, and scheduling; communicate test results.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate billing information.
• Keep exam rooms and equipment clean and disinfected; follow safety guidelines.
• Order supplies and manage medications and recalls as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and team members.
• Complete onboarding/orientation activities and work under supervision of providers.
