Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Banner-approved Medical Assistant training program requirement.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification required (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA).
• BLS certification required on hire.
• Strong computer skills with medical software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patient for exam by recording vital signs and chief complaint; report changes to clinician.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures; take vitals and perform phlebotomy/EKGs as needed.
• Coordinate patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, and scheduling; communicate results to patient.
• Provide clerical support including medical records, labs, X-rays, and billing information.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and equipment; follow sterilization and safety procedures.
• Order supplies and manage medications-related tasks and recalls.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Complete onboarding/orientation activities and work under supervision of providers.
