Work Schedule: Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on operational needs.

Job Description:

• Join our team of Family Medicine providers who diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, gynecological care, and urgent care.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.
• Provide compassionate, patient-family centered care.
• Prepare patients for examinations, obtain vital signs, document complaints, medications, allergies, perform EKGs, and administer medications and treatments.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and one of the following:
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program, or
  • Licensure as an LPN, or
  • Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship or Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program, or
  • Attainment of CCMA certification as a UWH employee, or
  • Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated, or
  • One year recent Medical Assistant experience with CMA, RMA, or CCMA Certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Certified MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 year required, or
  • Licensure as an LPN upon hire required, or
  • Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification upon hire required if applying in lieu of education or licensure.
  • CPR/BLS certification upon hire required.
