Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group, LLC seeks a full-time Medical Assistant for the ENT clinic, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. The MA will prep patients for exams, record vitals and histories, assist with procedures, and support providers under supervision.

Responsibilities include patient education, clerical tasks in the EHR, specimen collection, and ensuring room readiness and supplies. CPR certification and EMR proficiency preferred; team-based care in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Certified/Licensed MA preferred.
• Two years of medical practice or clinical setting experience.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs and patient histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Document in EHR accurately and clearly.
• Process prescription refills and communicate with pharmacies.
• Educate patients on treatments and medications.
