Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to provide direct care and support in a fast-paced clinic in Baltimore. You will enter patient intake data and provider orders into the EMR, verify demographic information, and help coordinate patient flow.

The role requires accurate vitals/medical history documentation, HIPAA compliance, and strong communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills.
• Must have strong written and oral communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and work flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into EMR.
• Assist with patient forms and education materials.
• Record vitals and medical history accurately.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and proper infection control.
• Answer phones professionally and relay messages promptly.
• Obtain prior authorizations for radiology and prescriptions as needed.
• Support ultrasound and lab processes as directed.
