Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Internet and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication, including customer service.
• Ability to work with doctors, clinical staff, and the public.
• Flexible schedule; ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Working knowledge of healthcare field and medical terminology.
• Commitment to HIPAA and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request and obtain medical records as directed by providers.
• Record vital signs and medical history; collect patient information.
• Support patient flow and clinical operations; maintain a professional environment.
• Prepare forms, requisitions, and paperwork per provider instructions.
• Verify patient information and patient ID; ensure accuracy.
• Maintain examination rooms and clinical areas; stock supplies.
• Answer calls professionally and relay messages promptly.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with DME fitting and specimen handling as needed.
