Clearway Pain Solutions in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to provide direct patient care and support clinical operations. The role includes entering patient intake and provider orders into the EMR, requesting records, updating vital signs and medical history, and facilitating patient flow within a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, HIPAA awareness, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, staff, and the public.
• Able to work independently and in a team; follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request medical records and manage patient information.
• Maintain imaging, lab, and medical records in the chart.
• Prepare paperwork and requisitions per provider instructions.
• Create a positive patient service environment and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with clinical and administrative tasks as needed.
