Job summary

Frontier is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinic team in Arlington, TX. The role supports clinicians, performs vitals, phlebotomy, IVs and ECGs, and coordinates patient care with PCPs and external providers.

You will engage with patients by phone, text, and email, and help maintain organized exam rooms and inventories. A strong focus on compassionate patient experience and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience working in a clinic setting.
• Experience providing care to all ages, including pediatrics.
• Proficient at performing ECGs, phlebotomy, IVs and injections.
• Onsite skills assessment required during recruitment.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems.
• Active BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Adaptable to change in process and technology.

Responsibilities

• Educate and empower members on how to use their Frontier membership.
• Work with paired PCPs to provide quality care to assigned patient panel.
• Coordinate provider needs related to patient care to set up success.
• Coordinate with outside service providers (imaging, labs, specialists).
• Perform vitals, phlebotomy, IVs, ECGs, and injections.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures for smooth patient care.
• Welcome members to the clinic and ensure they feel cared for.
• Conduct follow-ups to maintain engagement and trust in the healthcare system.
