Job summary

Frontier Direct, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will empower patients, assist paired PCPs, and coordinate with imaging, labs, and specialists to ensure seamless patient care.

The role requires ECG/EKG, phlebotomy, IV procedures, and in-office support with strong communication and organization. On-site clinic work with a focus on compassionate patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience working in a clinic setting.
• Experience providing care to all ages, including pediatrics.
• Proficient at performing ECG/EKG, phlebotomy, IVs and injections.
• Extensive experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR).
• Active BLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Educate and empower members on using their Frontier membership.
• Work with paired PCPs to provide care to assigned patient panel.
• Coordinate provider needs to set up provider and patient for success.
• Coordinate with outside service providers (imaging, labs, specialists).
• Perform vitals, phlebotomy and IV procedures; assist with in-office procedures.
• Welcome members and ensure they feel cared for in the clinic.
• Conduct regular follow ups to ensure members feel supported.
