Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred, OR at least one year of direct patient care experience as a medical assistant
• Possess or be willing to obtain required certifications (e.g., Drug Screen Collection, Breath Alcohol) as per state regulations
• Knowledge of medical terminology and occupational medicine requirements (state-specific) preferred

Aufgaben

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Prepare patients for physical examinations and take vital signs; assist with vaccines, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiograms and respirator fit testing
• Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.)
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments
• Handle front/back office duties and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation
