HCA Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant for Los Robles Cardiovascular in Thousand Oaks, CA. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, dayside hours with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will support patient flow, prep exam rooms, take histories and vital signs, assist with injections, lab tasks, and minor procedures. The role requires at least one year of Medical Assisting or comparable clinical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and MA certification or equivalent

Qualifikationen

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification/licensing: MA certification required; acceptable certifications listed or recent grads must obtain certification within 60 days; or those with one year MA experience must obtain certification within one year.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms with instruments and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer calls and screen for referrals.
