Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required or must obtain within specified timeframe after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, maintain supplies and sterilization.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer calls and screen referrals.
