Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles seeks a Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant to provide non-invasive clinical support under supervision of licensed clinicians. The role includes room setup, vital signs, venipuncture, and basic audiometry/vision testing.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED is required.
• CMA or RMA licensure or equivalent preferred.
• BLS Health Care Provider certification is required.
• Audiometry and vision testing training or CHDP certificate within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
• HLFS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients; maintains a continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers.
• Obtains vital signs and reports significant findings to the clinic physician.
• Performs venipunctures as ordered.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
