Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver excellent patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical exams, testing, and specimen collection, and help coordinate care across teams.

The role requires completing an MA program or related credentials (MA externship/internship, EMT or Paramedic, or Athletic Trainer) and maintaining current MA certifications.

Formación

• Completion of an MA program or MA externship/internship, EMT or Paramedic program, or certification as Athletic Trainer.
• Maintains current MA Re-Certification CEUs if credentialed.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; non-certified candidates may qualify with relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
