Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required.
• MA ladder with experience levels (MA I–MA IV) at Baystate Health.

Responsibilities

• Room patients for intake, gather vitals, review histories, and document medications in EHR.
• Prepare treatment rooms, chaperone patients, and assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Process provider orders, refills, prior authorizations, and documentation within required timeframes.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer immunizations per policy.
• Review discharge instructions, provide education, coordinate referrals, and schedule follow-ups.
