Job summary

LifeLong Medical Care in Berkeley's West Berkeley Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant dedicated to patient-centered care. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and prior medical office experience, with completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current CPR required.

This is a full-time position with benefits and involvement in a collaborative care team. The role includes clinical and clerical duties, data entry in EHR, patient education, and participation

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CPR from an approved organization.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a community clinic or medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document patient information using an Electronic Health Record system.
• Prepare exam rooms before and after patient examinations.
• Assist practitioners during examinations and with basic procedures as directed.
• Provide patient education and information as instructed by clinicians and protocols.
