Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical military training per DD214.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years may be required in some divisions.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs, history, and screenings.
• Assist providers with procedures and lab duties (venipuncture, specimen handling).
• Perform waived CLIA tests and POCT per orders.
• Administer medications and vaccines per rights of administration and policy.
• Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and insurance authorizations; maintain a safe, organized workspace.
