Job summary

Emplify Health, a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, is seeking a Medical Assistant for 0.8 FTE at our Postville and West Union clinics. Schedule is 64 hours bi-weekly, Monday and Friday at Postville, Tuesday and Wednesday at West Union, with day shifts and no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN.
• High School Diploma or equivalency with Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS for healthcare workers.
• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a warm and welcoming smile and set the tone for appointments.
• Update patient information in charting systems.
• Take vitals.
• Assist with project work that supports the department.
• Partner with providers, nurses, and managers to support patients’ health journeys.

What is available:

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments

What you need:
