As a Medical Assistant at Dignity Health Medical Group, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will ensure smooth daily operations for patients and the clinical team. Your role involves preparing patient charts, managing multiple patients daily, and providing compassionate support. You will assist with obtaining vital signs, documenting complaints, alerting physicians to issues, and performing basic patient procedures, including minor treatments and specimen collection. The Medical Assistant II role involves more independence, workflow coordination, and administrative duties such as referrals and front desk tasks.
Minimum: High School Diploma or G.E.D., completion of a Medical Assistant Program or U.S. Armed Forces medical training, with experience in check-in and scheduling software, and current BLS certification.
Preferred: Prior MA experience, EMR familiarity, specialty experience, bilingual skills.
