Job summary

Ascension Menasha is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Float Pool in Menasha, Wisconsin. The role involves preparing examination rooms, interviewing patients, taking vital signs, and documenting care records to support accurate clinical assessments.

You will assist physicians and registered nurses with treatments and procedures, manage scheduling and administrative tasks, and help coordinate inventory to keep the clinic clean, safe, and efficient. Schedule: Days | PRN Variable.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Medical Assistant credential from AAMA, AMT, NCCT or NHA obtained prior to hire date.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of job-specific experience.

What minimum requirements you'll need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration
• Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following: Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
