Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Float Pool in Menasha, WI. The role involves preparing exam rooms, interviewing patients, taking vital signs, and documenting care records to assist clinical assessments.

You will support physicians and nurses with treatments and procedures, while handling administrative duties to ensure smooth clinic workflow. Minimum credentials include BLS within 1 month and a Medical Assistant credential prior to hire, with eligibility for several MA

Formación

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date.
• MA credential required prior to hire date.
• One or more MA credentials from AAMA, AMT, NCCT or NHA accepted.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  
  
  
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  
  
  • Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  
  
  • One or more of the following:
    
    
    
    • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    
    
    • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    
    
    • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    
    
    • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.
    
    
    
    
  
  
  
  

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
