Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) to support primary care teams in a fast-paced outpatient setting in Washington. The MA-C will room patients, take histories and vitals, document quality measures, assist with exams and procedures, and coordinate labs and referrals while ensuring patient care flows smoothly.

Excellent customer service and bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.

Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C)

The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

Key Duties:

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model
