Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington seeks a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) to support providers in a fast-paced outpatient primary care setting. The MA-C will perform patient intake, measure vital signs, document in the EHR, and assist with exams and procedures.

You will administer medications and immunizations, coordinate labs and referrals, and ensure smooth patient flow while delivering patient-centered care in a culturally diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.

Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C)

The Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.
