Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role assists with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

The MA-C will room patients, take histories and vitals, document in the EHR, assist with exams and procedures, administer medications and immunizations per protocol, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days.
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• May require travel to other clinic locations.

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C).

The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

Key Duties

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model

Qualifications
