Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our general surgery team. Under physician supervision, you will perform patient assessments, basic diagnostic procedures, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited medical assisting program, and certification such as CCMA, CMA, or RMA. BLS is required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of accredited medical assisting program or equivalent required.
• License: CCMA, CMA or RMA; Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire

A Certified Medical Assistant who excels in this role:
