Job summary

Sutter Health's PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver clinical and clerical support within the patient care team. You will assist with back-office tasks, prepare patients for exams, and help implement the plan of care under clinician supervision.

The role requires an MA program diploma or externship, HS diploma/GED, and BLS certification. Experience in EHR systems and MS Office is valued. Schedule is full-time with varied shifts, 32 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant program diploma preferred or MA externship completed.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is expected.
• One year of recent relevant experience is typical for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and the patient care team.
• Assist in back-office tasks and patient flow to support high-quality care.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with basic procedures under supervision.
