Job summary

Sutter Health’s PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and the patient care team with back-office and patient-facing tasks. The role emphasizes accurate vitals, exam prep, injections, and efficient workflow to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• H S Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program approved by the California Medical Board.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical tasks and patient care.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for exams.
• Administer injections as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
