Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes, MN invites candidates to join our Medical Assistant Apprentice program at St. Mary's Clinic.

You will be hired to work while the company pays for your education and certification as a Medical Assistant, with a 1-year work commitment after course completion. Program starts July 2026 and includes hands-on clinical training, patient care, and administrative responsibilities, plus ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• CCMA Board Certification within 12 months of completing the apprentice program.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training in a clinical environment.
• Exposure to patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative responsibilities.
• Ongoing coaching and mentorship throughout the program.
