Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Medical Assistant (MA) Apprentice to enter a registered Apprenticeship program with Swedish Medical Group in partnership with InReach Career Pathways. You will work under the supervision of a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) preceptor and perform tasks within the approved apprentice scope.

The program requires 2,000 hours of clinical practice, 410 hours of coursework (unpaid), and 3 skills labs (unpaid).

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Meets qualifications for MA Apprenticeship per InReach Career Pathways & Swedish Medical Group criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of MA-C preceptor.
• Perform routine clinical tasks as approved by apprenticeship guidelines.
• Adhere to scope of practice and participate in apprenticeship activities.
