Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant Apprentice as part of a registered Apprenticeship with Swedish Medical Group and InReach Career Pathways. Under supervision of a Certified Medical Assistant preceptor, you will perform clinical tasks defined by the Apprentice program and WA rules to support patient care.

You will complete 2,000 hours of clinical practice, 410 hours of coursework (unpaid), and participate in labs and activities.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Meets qualifications for entry into the MA Apprenticeship based on InReach Career Pathways and Swedish Medical Group criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision by the MA-C preceptor or Provider.
• Complete required apprenticeship hours: 2,000 clinical hours, 410 coursework hours (unpaid), and 3 unpaid labs.
