Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and care teams in our CT facility. You will assist with patient care, room patients, manage charting in EPIC, and help with scheduling and front desk duties to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, preparing patients, obtaining pre-authorizations, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as MA or equivalent role.
• New graduates from accredited MA programs will be considered.
• Certification/registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care responsibilities as assigned.
• Performs administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Performs environmental responsibilities as assigned.
• Performs other related organizational duties as assigned.
• May assist and/or perform chaperone duties for patient medical procedures as needed.
• May perform other duties as required.
