Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks as assigned and assists providers.
• Accompanies patients to the exam room and prepares for visits.
• Documents medical history, problems, medications in EPIC.
• Performs screening and assists with procedures as directed.
• Obtains pre-authorizations when necessary.
• Cross-trained on front desk duties and schedules appointments.
• Maintains patient records and manages EPIC in-basket.
