Responsibilities

  • Supervises the (self) administration of medication to patients.
  • Transcribes medication orders and monitors medication records for compliance.
  • Performs audits of medication transported, received, administered, stored, or disposed, as trained and assigned.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow Phoenix House medication policies.
  • Enter data into computer EMR software.
  • Answering telephones and updating patient medical records.
  • Schedule appointments and arrange hospital admissions/laboratory services.
  • Communicate with external agencies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
