Job summary

DENALI HEALTHCARE SPECIALISTS LLC is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join a growing, patient-focused practice in Wasilla, AK. You’ll support both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

In this role you’ll work with a dedicated team, perform vital signs, assist with exams, and help with specimen collection and point-of-care testing, all while maintaining accurate records and a safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide visit for comfort and efficiency.
• Assist patients with mobility, positioning and exam prep.
• Record vital signs and health information (history, meds, allergies).
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection.
• Support clinicians during procedures and care delivery.
• Coordinate care instructions to patients and families with clarity.
• Manage scheduling and patient flow to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation.
