• Rooming patients, obtaining their virtual signs, and documenting patient medical history into the EMR system (EPIC).
• Administering immunizations to patients ranging from newborns to young adults.
• Sanitizing and cleaning examination rooms and patient spaces.
• Assisting in procedures such as circumcisions, suture removals, and breathing treatments.
• Providing clinical support as needed.
• Maintaining workflow of patient care, gathering patient information, and under supervision, administering drugs, medications, treatments, tests, injections, and inoculations.
• Performing screenings, preparing patients for examinations, checking vitals, entering paperwork into EPIC, administering immunizations, allergy shots, refilling prescriptions, and assisting with phones.
• This position includes weekend rotation, working approximately 1 Saturday or Sunday (8 am – 1 pm) every 6-8 weeks.

Schedule/Shift

• Schedule assigned 2 weeks in advance.
• Clinic hours: 7:30 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Friday.

Pay and Benefits

Clinic Locations and Responsibilities

Support clinics in Federal Way and Gig Harbor, providing direct patient care with minimal administrative tasks. Candidates must be comfortable administering immunizations to pediatric patients from newborns to young adults and supporting procedures like circumcisions, suture removals, and breathing treatments. Expect high patient volume, ranging from 18-26 patients per shift, with services including immunizations, well-child checks, and physicals.

Potential for 1040 hours with opportunity for direct hire upon satisfactory completion.

Must Haves:

• MA-C certification through DOH (no MA-R).
• At least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Willingness to float to additional locations.

Nice to Have:

• Pediatric or Family Practice experience.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Ability to redirect to different locations on short notice.
• Experience with EPIC.
