Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to act as the first point of contact for patient care at our North Charleston clinic. You will perform both administrative and clinical duties, including EMR data entry, vital signs, injections, specimen collection, and room maintenance.

The role involves collaboration with physicians and nurses, adherence to policy, and potential travel to other clinics with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of MA school/training or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years experience with provider approval.
• CPR certification is required.
• TB screening required on hire.
• Willingness to travel to other clinic locations; mileage reimbursement available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for patient care and perform administrative duties.
• Input patient information into electronic medical records and take vital signs.
• Administer injections, collect specimens, draw blood, and maintain examination rooms.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses to deliver direct patient care within policy.
