Overview:

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks based on training, education, and competency evaluations, under the supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
