Position Overview

Somerset Gynecology & Obstetrics, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join their growing medical team. The Medical Assistant is committed to providing an exceptional patient experience, ensuring each encounter is professional, warm, and caring, tailored to the patient's individual needs.

Responsibilities

1. Obtain patient's health history and accurately enter data into Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
2. Prepare exam rooms for patient visits, maintaining cleanliness
3. Perform preliminary physical tests and record vitals
4. Set up diagnostic and treatment equipment as needed
5. Administer injections
6. Complete documentation related to medical records, test requests, medications, and patient education accurately and promptly
7. Assist physicians as directed
8. Work effectively within a team environment

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office
• Proficiency with EMR systems and medical terminology
• Previous experience in an OBGYN office preferred
