MEDICAL ASSISTANT PHLEBOTOMIST
Location: Titusville, FL
Pay: $16–$17 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview
Seeking a Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills to support providers and adult patients in a fast‑paced outpatient clinic. This position combines hands‑on patient care with administrative support, including patient intake, blood draws, specimen preparation, clinical documentation and care coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Obtain patient histories, vital signs and chief complaints
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws
- Label and prepare specimens for laboratory processing
- Administer injections and immunizations as directed and within scope
- Perform EKGs and point‑of‑care testing
- Collect blood, urine and swab specimens
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Document patient information and procedures in the EHR
- Process lab requisitions, track results and alert providers to abnormal findings
- Clean, stock and prepare exam rooms
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection‑control and specimen‑handling standards
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Strong phlebotomy and specimen‑handling experience
- BLS or CPR certification, or the ability to obtain it
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- One or more years of outpatient Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Primary care, internal medicine or infectious disease experience preferred
- EHR proficiency and basic computer skills
- A reliable, detail‑oriented and patient‑focused approach
Compensation & Benefits
- $16–$17 per hour
