Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills to support an outpatient clinic in Titusville, FL. You will perform blood draws, specimen processing and injections, while assisting providers and maintaining accurate EHR documentation for adult patients.

The role features a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits after six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Strong phlebotomy and specimen handling experience.
• BLS or CPR certification, or the ability to obtain it.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• One or more years outpatient Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Primary care/infectious disease experience preferred.
• EHR proficiency and basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Obtain patient histories, vital signs and chief complaints.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws.
• Label and prepare specimens for laboratory processing.
• Administer injections and immunizations as directed and within scope.
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.
• Collect blood, urine and swab specimens.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Document patient information and procedures in the EHR.
• Process lab requisitions, track results and alert providers to abnormal findings.
• Clean, stock and prepare exam rooms.
