MonteSol Medical Centers LLC in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our fast-paced clinical team. You will perform venipuncture, assist physicians, handle lab specimens, and maintain an organized workspace.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required; CMA/RMA preferred; phlebotomy certification or experience; EMR proficiency; compassionate patient care and multitasking in a busy office. This role offers advancement and professional training.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or demonstrated phlebotomy experience required.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, vital signs, and patient intake processes.
• Excellent bedside manner with strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with accuracy and patient comfort in mind
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and process lab specimens for testing and proper handling and labeling
• Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical data in EMR systems
• Administer injections, medications, and immunizations as directed by clinical staff
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical workspace in compliance with OSHA standards
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide front and back office support
