About the Role: The Care Promoter 1, Early Embrace is an unlicensed medical professional cross-trained to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations in our medical centers. Responsibilities vary by setting and include clinical duties under physician supervision, focusing on providing excellent primary care.

Essential Job Duties
  1. Measure and record patient vital signs, document medical history.
  2. Communicate patient needs to the healthcare team.
  3. Prepare patients for exams, assist physicians, and explain procedures.
  4. Monitor patient condition and report changes.
  5. Perform routine medical procedures, collect lab specimens, and conduct basic tests.
  6. Administer medications, change dressings, and perform first aid under supervision.
  7. Maintain supplies and sterilize equipment following safety standards.
  8. Manage patient communications and follow-up calls.
  9. Assist with medication prescriptions and health coaching.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Understanding of medical assistant functions and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer and phone operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% and work weekends as needed.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program or similar healthcare training.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience or clinical rotation training.
  • Experience with geriatric patients and EMR systems is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
