Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to greet patients, collect health histories, and support clinicians in examinations and basic procedures. The role includes performing vital signs, preparing rooms, and assisting with immunizations and point-of-care tests.

The successful candidate will have a medical assistant credential, CPR, and strong customer service skills, with occasional travel to nearby clinics. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or related health sciences coursework.
• Active Medical Assistant certification may be required through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years of MA/clinical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with immunizations or injections when certified.
• Assist patients with prescription requests and address pharmacy callbacks.

• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms.
• Travel to other local clinics as needed.

• Assist with immunizations or injections when certified.
• Assist patients with prescription requests and address pharmacy callbacks.
• Process provider orders, update charting, and maintain filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
• Active medical assistant certification may be required through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA for several clinical specialties.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire required.
• May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, or EMT, or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm.
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
