Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years MA experience in hospital/primary/urgent care setting or qualifying alternative background.
• Certification: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA required at hire or within 12 months.
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing, LPN/LVN, EMT, or Paramedic accepted as alternative background.
• CPOE certification required within 2 weeks if MA certification not obtained at hire.
• BLS required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 1+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant in a Hospital, Primary Care, Emergency Department, or Urgent Care setting, OR qualifying alternative credential/background
• One of the listed MA certifications required at hire or within 12 months of hire: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, LPN or LVN, EMT, or Paramedic accepted as an alternative qualifying background
• CPOE certification required within 2 weeks of hire if MA certification is not obtained at hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
