Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Rutherford, New Jersey. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Obtain vital signs and patient history to prepare for examinations.
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
• Assist the provider during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate medication and immunization records.
• Perform inventory checks on supplies and equipment.
• Organize and update medical records.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve goals.
• Assist with patient follow-ups, and referrals, and scheduling specialist appointments as directed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Basic Life Support certification

Additional Information:

• Location: Rutherford, New Jersey
• Job Type: Contract to hire.
• Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
