Job summary

Integrated Dermatology of North Raleigh is seeking a full-time clinical medical assistant to support our dermatology team in delivering high-quality patient care.

You will escort patients, assist with exams and procedures, perform tests and phlebotomy, and help with aftercare instructions while maintaining HIPAA and OSHA standards. The role requires 1–2 years of medical assistant or nursing assistant experience and a high school diploma, with a friendly, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience as a nursing or medical assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA.
• Ability to maintain organized systems for patient flow.
• Phlebotomy ability.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with exams and procedures.
• Perform tests and administer medications as directed by the provider.
• Provide aftercare instructions and triage messages from patients and staff.
• Clean/restock exam rooms and scribes for providers.

Busy Dermatologist office seeking a team player for a full-time clinical position. The medical/clinical assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice provider in providing high-quality patient care in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service.

Job Description

• Escorting patients to exam rooms
• Assist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests.
• Assist patients with aftercare instructions
• Triage and process messages from patients, front office staff and providers.
• Clean and restock exam rooms
• Scribing for the providers

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• The ability to perform phlebotomy
• Candidates must consent to, and pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Job Type:

• Full-time: Mon-Thurs, 7:45am-5:00/5:30pm and Fridays, 7:45am-2:00pm

Experience:

• 1-2 years’ work experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant (preferred but required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
