Integrated Dermatology is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced dermatology setting. The role blends clinical and administrative tasks, emphasizing patient care, efficiency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of medical office or clinical experience preferred.
• Dermatology experience highly preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examination.
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies.
• Perform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling (as permitted by role/training).
• Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic procedures.
• Provide patient education and relay provider instructions.
• Process prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requests.
• Support scheduling, charting, and electronic medical records documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of exam rooms.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and team members.
